Power Up with Plants – Health Partners

By January 26, 2026No Comments

At Community Blueprint, we are always looking for ways to use our creative energy for good—and our recent collaboration with HealthPartners for their PowerUp initiative was the perfect recipe for success.

Our team produced a series of four recipe videos and and accompanying photos for their “PowerUp with Plants” campaign. You can see our work in action on their new PowerUp with Plants site.

PowerUp is all about making it easy and fun for kids and families to eat better and move more. When they approached us to help showcase plant-based proteins, we jumped at the chance. We believe that marketing is most powerful when it’s helping communities thrive, and what’s better than helping kids discover that “plant power” can be delicious?

On the Menu: 4 New Recipe Videos

Our goal was to make these recipes look as good as they taste while keeping the instructions simple enough for families to follow along at home. We focused on four star recipes that prove plant proteins—like beans, lentils, and seeds—are anything but boring:

  1. Plant-Powered One Pot Pasta: A total game-changer for busy weeknights. It’s colorful, hearty, and (best of all) only uses one pan.

  2. Tasty Lentil Tacos: A fresh, plant-forward twist on Taco Tuesday that even the pickiest eaters will love.

  3. Southwest Beanie Egg Bake Bites: Perfect for a “power-up” breakfast or a quick snack on the go.

  4. Tofu-licious Stir Fry: A vibrant dish that shows just how versatile and tasty tofu can be when paired with the right veggies.

The Verdict: They Taste Even Better Than They Look!

One of the best “perks” of this project was the taste-testing. Our team can personally vouch for these—every single dish was a hit. We spent the day in the kitchen capturing the sizzle of the stir fry and the bright colors of the fresh produce, and let’s just say there weren’t many leftovers once we stopped rolling!

Why “Plant Power” Matters

Through this project, we learned so much about the benefits of plant proteins. They aren’t just good for our bodies; they’re great for the planet and easy on the grocery budget, too.

Working with HealthPartners reminded us why we love what we do. It wasn’t just about making a “pretty video”; it was about creating a tool that helps families try something new and healthy together.
