Words Become Art

The Killer Quotes tour was a social recruitment tour for Catalyst. Community Blueprint traveled to eight cities across Minnesota spreading the word about the tobacco industry’s awful tactics, using words from its own executives and employees. The Community Blueprint team worked with students in each area to find a “hot spot” for a night where they could engage with and educate high school students about what the tobacco industry is and how it makes and markets its product. The campaign was based on quotes from the tobacco industry that were revealed in internal documents resulting from court battles between states and against the industry.
