Andy Berndt
Director of Social Marketing and Health Promotion
At a young age Andy realized his passion for marrying grassroots activism, communications, and advocacy. He was first involved in high school in the fight against the tobacco industry with Minnesota’s Target Market. He then began to travel the country and the globe speaking and consulting with behavior change programs that brought him to 35 states, and 8 countries in Europe, Asia and Africa. He took his passion for activism and youth advocacy and used his expertise in graphic design and video production to help programs deliver relevant impactful messages. Andy went to school at the University of Minnesota with a degree in Journalism. His work has won awards from the Campaign for Tobacco Free Kids, and American Legacy Foundation.
Marissa Schneider
Graphic Designer
Marissa graduated with a degree in Graphic Design, concentrating in both Design and Interactive Media from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. Since she has joined the team she has become passionate about creating impactful graphic design, directed towards social change. Her interests include visual identities, creating both print and web design, and researching new design trends.
Kaylen Larson
Project Manager
Kaylen graduated with a degree in Political Science from South Dakota State University. She found her passion for public service at a young age, and by the time Kaylen finished college she’d been invited to Obama’s Inaugural Ball, spoken about youth service and happiness at the United Nations, advocated for child road safety in Latin America, served as the National President of a student organization with nearly 200,000 members, and testified for national teen driving legislation at the U.S. Capitol. Her background in public service combined with her creative abilities has turned into a career of cause-based marketing. Kaylen continues to use her knowledge of non-profits, social media and creative strategy to help worthy causes inspire behavior-changing action.
