Documenting Real Global to Local Change-Making Efforts

The videos tell the stories of Ashoka Fellows who are trying to cause a shift in how their communities approach important issues like decreasing infant-mortality rates and creating safer recess. The goal of the videos was to share the work that Ashoka fellows and community partners in Minneapolis and St. Paul were doing and to explain how Ashoka helps to bring like-minded, forward-thinking people together to improve communities abroad.

Birthing Project USA

The goal of Birthing Project USA is to improve birth outcomes for women of color around the world. Community Blueprint sat down with Birthing Project USA founder and Ashoka Fellow, Katherine Hall-Trujillo and Minneapolis project champion, Angela Watts, to talk about the impact the organization has had over the last 25 years and how they hope it can help women here in the Twin Cities.
